How do I “prepare my child for life”?
By raising an independent and autonomous child – allow your child to do things ON HER OWN (eating, getting dressed, but also problem-solve with friends, at school, at home….).
By teaching my child TO CHOOSE and carry the consequences of his choices – give your child THE GIFT OF RESPONSIBILITY and accountability.
By BELIEVING in my child and in her competence and ability – I allow her to try, to do mistakes, and I TRUST my child in her learning process.
I believe that the best way to prepare my children for life is to raise them to believe in themselves.
